Irony

Nothing against atheists, it's just that that was the only example I could think of. I'm not against them, it's just that being an atheist and being covered in bibles is ironic.

I-Friday Infinite

My reply to this week's illustration friday challenge. It's a bible with two verses about God's love for us, which is infinite. The only challenge I think would be the letters, because adobe illustrator was not working the way I wanted it. Regardless of that, it was pretty easy to make.

And so, because I work a little too fast in class, I got bored and made some random stuff in Adobe Illustrator. I don't even know what's up with the random shapes, but the fish was made on purpose.

A Circular Rainbow

As I'm killing time in class i came up with a circular rainbow, then I used the adobe illustrator crystalize tool to make the second one.

I illustrated the poem 'The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost

This is my rough copy, which I made by hand then scanned.

Then I added some color and texture to it, and kept some of the original trees in the background and added some buildings.

And finally I decided to un-color some of the trees in the back and made some others to cover up the house I had in the rough copy. The trickiest part was making some of the trees and getting the layers set up correctly. I kept the background trees the same to show that they were in the distance.

Illustration friday- Welcome

I figure the one place most people are welcome is an Italian household, where you arrive to see mounds of food, after eating a lot you gain two pounds, only to lose those two pounds carrying all the food to the car once you leave.

This is in fact, just gibberish. I just made a lot of lines and used the adobe illustrator's distortion tools.

I-Friday "Strong"

The illustration friday challenge of September 4, 2009 was 'strong'. In my opinion, to be strong is to be able to stick through the toughest obstacles, not to be able to lift a heavy amount of weights. Running is a perfect example of true strength, because you need to finish, even though your whole body's sore. It takes strength to say to yourself, "I need this, I'm going to do this." and actually follow through.
