It's hard to stay on one's diet.
The raw version.

Photoshop Phaces

Editing my face using Photoshop to show what I've learned using it. I am a one or the other kind of person. Just black and white, no shades of gray. I imagine it could be a book cover or CD cover of sorts.

I-Friday "Hatch"

Using the theme of incongruous worlds like before, I made this in photoshop. If you are able to hatch a horse, then I applaud you.

Incongruous Worlds (In Progress)

In these pictures we were supposed to show two completely unrelated things mingled together. I decided to use compound words for mine such as sunbathe, jellyfish, and chickpea. These were done in Photoshop.

I-Friday "Crunchy"

Getting to this:
I love the crunchy sound snow makes when stepped on.

I Believe

I believe that to get to where you want to go, you have to work a little for it. This was made in photoshop.

Photoshop Montage

I used Photshop to take five individual pictures to make them show movement. The person was made and adjusted through Adobe Illustrator

Logo Type

Taking words that are unfamiliar to me and illustrating them. The top picture shows my original ideas and the bottom one is my first result. I intend to work on them if it is needed.
Solder- to join two metal objects together.
Abide- To stay in place or in a certain pattern.
Orifice- An entrance or opening that allows passage.

I-Friday "Music"

Music speaks when we can't.

type faces

I started off with this photo, edited in adobe photoshop.
The first result.
taking away the black background.
adding color. To be honest, I like the first one best.

I-Friday "Unbalanced"

As the toughest balancing act out there, "Life" usually throws people off balance.

I-Friday "Blur"

Because sometimes you have places to go, and people to see.

Pumpkin carving

Posting from my home computer the pictures I took of the pumpkin I just recently carved. It didn't turn out completly the way I wanted it but hey, that's just how it is. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I-Friday "Skinny"

And even though Jeff's weight stayed the same after his attempt to get skinny, he noticed his popularity increase with the women.

Type Things

Deconstruction Design 3rd and 4th take (Respectively)

A little more variation. I like these two the most out of the rest of them.

Speed is relative.

Typography face

Me using only type. The font I used was comic sans. The hair is just a group of parenthesis, and the nose is an upside down question mark. The rest is just "o's."

T-shirt design

Just an iron on t-shirt design I made for graphic design.

I-Friday "Frozen"

Yeah... no caption needed.

I-Friday "Flying"

Just a small comic for the Illustration Friday challenge.

I-Friday "Germs"

For this week's Illustration Friday, the word was germs. Unlike most people, I decided to do something different. This is supposed to be a baby changing station, which unfortunately has more germs than needed. It would figure that the place where you wouldn't want germs is where they're found.

Twenty f-R challenge

And in the same fashion of the arrow project, I made the same thing, but instead of 24 arrows I used 24 letter "R"s The first one is the RAW version, and the second one is when it was digitalized. In my opinion, one of the most convenient parts of the computer is the copy and paste, where you only need to make one shape when you need multiple similar shapes.

I-Friday Pattern

As I sat there thinking about what to do for Illustration Friday's challenge, I thought, "What has a pattern to it?" and then it came to me: tigers. It is a common pattern that they don't have the same pattern of stripes. Setting out to work I failed several times, until I got one full tiger, which was at least decent(because even though I like tigers, I can't draw them that good to save my life), scanned it, and got it digitalized. 'But why so many tigers lax?' you might ask. The reason being is that I needed to show pattern, so it would make sense to have at least more than one tiger.

Arrow project EDITED

After getting some feedback in class, I decided to lessen the arrows on the bottom row to make it make it match the rest of them.

Thursday, September 24, 2009

Arrow project RAW

Still a work in progress, some arrows will stay and some will go. I would appreciate some feedback.

Irony

Nothing against atheists, it's just that that was the only example I could think of. I'm not against them, it's just that being an atheist and being covered in bibles is ironic.

I-Friday Infinite

My reply to this week's illustration friday challenge. It's a bible with two verses about God's love for us, which is infinite. The only challenge I think would be the letters, because adobe illustrator was not working the way I wanted it. Regardless of that, it was pretty easy to make.

Down Time #2

Just some more images made through pure boredom in class. nothing really special about it.

Down time #1

And so, because I work a little too fast in class, I got bored and made some random stuff in Adobe Illustrator. I don't even know what's up with the random shapes, but the fish was made on purpose.

A Circular Rainbow

As I'm killing time in class i came up with a circular rainbow, then I used the adobe illustrator crystalize tool to make the second one.
